Run-Tex and Project Graduation 2004 is hosting a 30 kilometer (eighteen mile) long race on Sunday, January 11th.  The 30K race will be run in North Hays County, starting in Mountain City and ending at Jack C. Hays High School.  All proceeds from the race will benefit the Hays High School class of 2004 "Project Graduation", a non-profit, tax-exempt organization.  The course will be run on Hays County roads starting at the entrance to Mountain City on FM 2770.  The event starts at 8:00 a.m. and after winding down FM 2770 and FM 1626, the runners will route through Leisurewoods after they enter at the Sac-n-Pac at FM 967 and Canyon Wren at approximately 9:00 a.m.   Leisurewoods residents will help with two water stops as the race winds it's way through the subdivision.  After running up Canyon Wren, the runners will then exit Leisurewoods at the Sac-n-Pac as they head back towards the finish line at Hays High School.
